The human body- 3D

Hey there!
I found a web in which you can take a tour on all the human systems and organs.
They also have short explanations about each of them, it´s cool!

La prehistoria - Prehistory

¡Hola chicos!
Hoy me gustaría hacer un pequeño resumen de la prehistoria. Ya que muchos lo estudiáis o estudiaréis en inglés, lo haré en los dos idiomas para echaros una mano a todos.

* La prehistoria es el período que discurre entre la aparición de los primeros homínidos y la aparición de la escritura.
* La prehistoria está dividida en tres diferentes etapas: el paleolítico, el neolítico y la edad de los metales.
* El paleolítico:

* El neolítico:

* Prehistory is the period that started when the first hominids appeared and ended with the invention of writing.
*It is divided into: the Palaeolithic period, the Neolithic period and the Metal Ages.
* The Palaeolithic period:
➕Men were nomads, that is, they didn´t live in one place only. They moved from one place to another in search of food and water. They also used to live in caves.
➕They used to hunt and fish to get their food. They also collected fruits they found.
➕They formed what is called clans, groups of family members and friends that lived together.
➕They discovered fire. This was a great discovery because now they could keep warm when it was cold, or maybe cook the animals they hunted! They also used it to protect themselves from the wild animals that wanted to attack them.

* The Neolithic period:
➕Men weren´t nomads anymore. Now they were sedentary, which means that they lived only in one place and didn´t have to travel all the time. Basically this happened because...
➕They started growing their own cereals and domesticating animals (which is known as animal husbandry).
➕Also, the first villages appeared.

* The Metal Ages:
➕Men discovered they could use different metals for different things: they worked with copper, bronze and iron and made weapons (to hunt animals), ornaments and cooking tools.
➕The wheel was invented in this period.

Comunidades Autónomas y provincias- Mapas

¡Hola chicos!

Por elemplo: metralleta (me-tra-lle-ta), estirando (es-ti-ran-do), calabacines (ca-la-ba-ci-nes)...

*Algo muy importante a tener en cuenta es que todas las sílabas, para ser sílabas, tienen que contener al menos una vocal.

Pinchando aquí tienes una muy breve ilustración animada de lo que yo acabo de explicarte

Los números romanos

¿Quién ha estudiado los números romanos? Si, si... esas letras que equivalen a números y que se pueden hasta mezclar...

Pues bien, esto es lo que vale cada letra en el sistema de numeración romano.

 I = 1

V = 5

X = 10

L = 50

C = 100

D = 500

M = 1.000

Lógicamente existen una serie de normas para formar números con este sistema:
* Los signos I, X, C y M pueden repetirse hasta tres veces seguidas.

* Si una cifra está a la izquierda de otra mayor que ella, se resta de ésta.
Por ejemplo:      I V = 4
                          I I X = 8   que también puede expresarse así:   V I I I

* Si una cifra está a la derecha de otra mayor que ella, se suma a ésta.
Por ejemplo:      V I = 6
                          C L = 150

Present Continuous

We use the P. Continuous to talk about actions that are happening now.🚩
e.g. 'I am writing about the continuous form of the verbs'
       'She is reading the blog'
       'They are learning the present continuous'

The formula is easy peasy 😛

                   am
Pronoun +   is    + verb -ing + ...
                   are

** What if we want to say something that is not happening?

e.g. 'I am not writing in French'
       'She is not reading a book'
       'They are not learning the past simple'

                     am not

Pronoun +    is not      + verb -ing + ...

                    are not

** If we want to ask about something that is happening now we use:

am
is       + pronoun + verb -ing + ... + ?
are

e.g. 'Are you reading the blog?'
       'Is she at school?'

Past simple- rest of the verbs

This will depend on the type of verb: regular or irregular.
If you are using a regular verb it´s easy! Just add -ed at the end of it!

played      football
You played  tennis
He played    hockey with is dad
She played   with her brother
It played       with the ball
We played    cards
You played   computer games
They played  basketball

But if you are using an irregular verb things get a bit more complicated, you need to know the form of these verbs in the past tense!
Here I leave a list of these irregular verbs so you can get to know them, or just revise them.
Take it easy! You don´t need to memorise them all quickly!

Irregular Verbs List 2nd Grade | Irregular verbs in present tense list

I was       sick

You were   in bed until late

He was        your best friend

She was      your doctor when you were little

It was         a dangerous storm

We were     at the library

You were    wrong

They were  very angry with you

Formula: Pronoun + was / were + ...
